Request Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data and analysis data from NotchBio.
What Gets Deleted
Section titled “What Gets Deleted”When you request data deletion:
- Your uploaded FASTQ files
- All pipeline results and outputs
- Your project configurations and settings
- Your account information
How to Request
Section titled “How to Request”If You Have an Account
Section titled “If You Have an Account”- Go to Settings
- Look for the Delete Account or Data Deletion option
- Confirm your request
If You Don’t Have an Account
Section titled “If You Don’t Have an Account”Contact us directly:
- Email: contact@updates.notchbio.app
- Use our contact form with the subject “Data Deletion Request”
Timeline
Section titled “Timeline”- Requests are processed within 30 days
- You’ll receive confirmation when deletion is complete
- Some data may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., billing records)
Important Notes
Section titled “Important Notes”- Data deletion is irreversible — make sure you’ve downloaded any results you need
- Shared project data is only deleted for your contributions, not data from other collaborators
