Account & Billing

Can I change my plan?
Section titled “Can I change my plan?”Yes. Go to Settings → Billing to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription. See Manage Subscription.
What payment methods do you accept?
Section titled “What payment methods do you accept?”We accept credit/debit cards and PayPal through Paddle, our payment provider.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Section titled “How do I cancel my subscription?”Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Pipeline & Analysis
Section titled “Pipeline & Analysis”How long does the pipeline take?
Section titled “How long does the pipeline take?”Processing time depends on file size and number of samples. Typical times:
- QC + Preprocessing: 5–15 minutes per sample
- Salmon quantification: 5–10 minutes per sample
- DESeq2: 2–5 minutes for the full analysis
- GSEA: 3–8 minutes
Can I re-run a pipeline step with different parameters?
Section titled “Can I re-run a pipeline step with different parameters?”Yes. Each run creates a new version. You can go back and compare results between versions.
What reference genome/transcriptome does Salmon use?
Section titled “What reference genome/transcriptome does Salmon use?”NotchBio uses the GENCODE v49 human transcriptome with the Salmon v1.10 index.
My pipeline step failed. What should I do?
Section titled “My pipeline step failed. What should I do?”Check the error message in the run details. Common issues:
- Low-quality input files → adjust preprocessing parameters
- Missing group assignments → assign all samples to groups
- No “Control” group → create a group named “Control”
If the issue persists, contact support.
Data & Privacy
Section titled “Data & Privacy”Where is my data stored?
Section titled “Where is my data stored?”Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure (Modal volumes). Files are encrypted at rest.
Can I delete my data?

Can I export my results?

Who can see my projects?
Section titled “Who can see my projects?”Only you and team members you explicitly invite. See Manage Project Access.
Collaboration

Section titled “How many team members can I invite?”There’s no limit on the number of team members per project.
Can collaborators see my other projects?
Section titled “Can collaborators see my other projects?”No. Access is granted per project. Team members can only see projects they’ve been invited to.
